The course I’m teaching for Rosary College this semester on Early Modern Literature and Culture is coming to an end. We’ve been immersed in the plays of Shakespeare, the Metaphysical Poets and Milton’s epic. Next semester, I’ll be teaching a course on Modern Literature and Culture, covering the period from the Romantic Poets in the late eighteenth century to the works of G. K. Chesterton, T. S.
